LabVIEW End-of-Line Product Validation

The Challenge

The customer had an existing Siemens S7-1200 PLC-controlled testing machine and required advanced data acquisition and analysis to automatically validate components at the end of the production line.

PROLABS Solution

PROLABS integrated the existing PLC-controlled machine with LabVIEW, communicating with the Siemens PLC through the required process tags and synchronizing the test sequence with advanced measurement and analysis.

The system:

  • Acquires high-speed accelerometer and displacement data.

  • Processes and analyzes test data using advanced analysis tools on an industrial computer.

  • Automatically determines OK / Not OK component status based on defined acceptance criteria.

  • Stores analyzed data and uploads every test result to the company's database for complete product traceability.

  • Uses PLC tags to create a visual simulation of machine movements, helping operators and engineers better understand the test sequence and machine operation.

Traceability

All test results are automatically uploaded to the company database, providing complete product traceability and easy access to historical test data.
